From the Fire TV home screen open Settings, then My Fire TV, then Developer Options. Turn on Apps from Unknown Sources. If you do not see Developer Options, go to Settings, My Fire TV, About and click the Fire TV Stick row seven times to reveal it.
Search the Amazon Appstore for an IPTV player that supports M3U playlists or Xtream Codes logins. Several are published directly on the Appstore, which is the safest route because updates arrive automatically.
Open the player, choose to add a new playlist or Xtream Codes account, and paste the server URL, username and password from your welcome email. Give the profile a name so you can tell it apart if you add a second one later.
Let the app finish its first sync. Loading the full channel list and EPG can take two to five minutes on a stick; do not close the app while it runs. When it completes you will see categories and a scrollable guide.
In the player settings, set the decoder to hardware acceleration and increase the buffer slightly if your connection is variable. Set the guide time zone to your own so US schedules line up correctly.

Move the stick to 5 GHz Wi-Fi or use an Ethernet adapter, close background apps from Settings, Applications, Manage Installed Applications, and raise the player's buffer size by one step.
Clear the app cache in Settings, Applications, Manage Installed Applications, then reopen. If it still crashes, clear data and re-enter your credentials.
Switch the player decoder from software to hardware (or the reverse) and restart the stream. This usually means the current decoder cannot handle that stream's codec.
Force an EPG refresh in the player settings and confirm the time zone matches yours. A shifted guide is almost always a time-zone setting rather than a data problem.
